Mission Statement

Spectrum Days promotes and protects the physical

and mental health of people with profound

disabilities (PMLD),

in Worcestershire and the surrounding

area. This is achieved by having a professional, experienced and dedicated team who provide a spectrum of services to the spectrum of disabilities associated with PMLD.

The services are flexible and fun. Inclusive activities bespoke to the individual have evolved from the culmination of the management team’s many years working in the voluntary, private and business sectors.

We provide excellent services through an innovative approach to service provision, responding to the needs of the family. Through a unique combination of Day opportunities, specialist equipment, resources, skills, knowledge and experience. By pulling a range of specialist services and resources together high quality, efficient solutions are provided to this marginalised but very special group.  â€‹

Testimony

''Our son Jim has cerebral palsy and is 34 years old. He has a very active social life and enjoys going to football, cricket, theatre, day trips and many other things.

Seven years ago Jim started attending Spectrum Days and we can’t possibly explain in full how they have welcomed
him and our family to their place of work. Jim’s days
are now consisting of music therapy, quizzes, physio,
bingo, animal therapies, arts and crafts, cooking,
martial arts and many other amazing activities. Every
member of staff have always been welcoming and friendly and of course all trained up to do their daily tasks effectively.

Jim’s seven years at spectrum have been very special for all of us. Here’s to the next seven.'' - Mick & Nicky parents

''Spectrum Days is brilliant, the staff are brilliant. I love the banter and the fun we have.'' - Jim member
